This page describes all of the bushwalking guide books, for
overnight bushwalks, that I have found on sale
in Australia. There are also many other guide books for one day
walks available (not listed here) - some day walk books do appear
in the list if they also include a few overnight trips. Most books
are only available locally and can be hard to buy. If you are
after any of these books, a good place to start is the specialised
map and guide book shops - one general starting point are the
book sellers on my external
links page. Another good source are the bushwalking shops
in the state or region close to the walks. There are many, many
such shops in Australia (at least 140) - addresses and phone numbers
for most shops are listed in the 'Suppliers Index', which is published
in every issue of WILD magazine.
