Weather Conditions for Cape Leeuwin
Cape to Cape Track, Western Australia


Avoid this place during the hot summers and the very wet winters. Autumn and spring have the best walking temperatures.


Winter is very wet, November and December are popular as it stops raining but the springs are still running.
Average yearly rainfall is 1000 mm (39 inches).


This shows how wet winter really is. Summer is much better with an equal number of sunny days and light rain.

Accuracy - Excellent, weather records have been kept for over 90 years for the lighthouse at Cape Leeuwin, which is the southern terminus for this walk.
